Dr. Ute Wiedemann has been working at medica since April 2016. After studying human genetics at the LMU Munich, she initially worked as a cytogeneticist, both in a private laboratory and at the University of Zurich. She has been working in Switzerland since 2004. Over the years, she has expanded her focus to include prenatal diagnostics, first trimester screening and fertility diagnostics. Since 2008, she has been co-chair of the Swiss Working Group on First Trimester Screening (CH-1TT). In 2019, she turned to molecular diagnostics and became deputy head of department.
