Dr Dieter von Au is a human geneticist who has held leadership positions at medical laboratories throughout Germany since 1989 and Switzerland since 1994. He has been a member of the Swiss Society of Medical Genetics since 1995 and qualified as a “Specialist in Medical Genetic Analysis FAMH” in 2001. Dr von Au was granted the right to work as an independent Laboratory Manager by the Canton of Zurich in 2013 and was awarded a certificate of competence to practice as a “Clinical Laboratory Geneticist” by the European Board of Medical Genetics in 2015. Dr von Au has worked at medica since 2015 and is responsible for the Medical Genetics Department.
