Special Analytics
In the Special Analytics department, we perform all of the more complex organic and inorganic analyses that require us to employ robust methods and exercise a certain degree of manual preparation in most cases.
Range of methods
We employ highly selective LC-MS/MS methods to determine the levels of numerous antidepressants, antiepileptics, immunosuppressants and neuroleptics. This allows us to gauge reliable levels, even for patients taking a complicated combination of different medications. We are also happy to provide services tailored to individual customers.
In order to ascertain the levels of vitamins, metabolites in the urine and glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) and obtain a precise CD transferrin measurement, we use high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
With elemental analysis and inorganic trace analysis, chemical elements can now be determined down to the sub-ppb range (µg/L), generally using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
By performing an infrared spectroscopy, we can offer a rapid and conclusive 13C breath test for Helicobacter infestation.
