Fertility Diagnostics

We use ADVIA 2120 to ensure that we can quickly detect any pathological changes in the blood.
Serology tests for infectious diseases / Immunology
Our Laboratory Medicine team provides comprehensive serological diagnostic services by performing a broad range of analyses.

We perform almost all analyses daily – some several times a day – which enables us to give you your results in a matter of hours.

Our Medical Genetics department performs genetic analyses from all fields of medical expertise.
Medical Microbiology
We offer a comprehensive range of analyses pertaining to conventional and molecular bacteriology, mycology and parasitology.
Molecular Diagnostics
The interdisciplinary range of analyses that forms part of molecular diagnostics is used to detect the presence of viruses, bacteria and parasites.
Special Analytics
We perform all of the more complex organic/inorganic analyses that require us to employ robust methods and exercise a certain degree of manual preparation.
Centre for Ticks and Mosquitoes
Ticks and mosquitoes can carry a whole host of infectious diseases, some of which can have serious consequences. Here at medica, we offer a full laboratory screening service for diseases associated with both these creatures.
Serum Bank
We offer a free serum bank service where all serum samples are stored for several months.
