PD Dr Ewerton Marques Maggio is a board-certified pathologist specialising in molecular pathology. After completing his specialist medical training, he gained research and diagnostic experience at the University of Groningen/Netherlands, Essen and Würzburg/Germany. This was followed by many years of activity as a senior physician and finally as leading physician at the University Hospital in Zurich. He brings wide-ranging experience and advanced knowledge of gastrointestinal tract and liver pathology, haematopathology and infection pathology.
